The Committee consists of five members of the Accademia dei Lincei and four representatives of the institutions in the network. They are divided into articles that establish: <\/p>\n<p>Purposes (Art. 1)<br \/>The objective is to conduct research on cultural heritage \u2013 in particular Villa Farnesina \u2013 with a focus on non-invasive diagnostic techniques and the resilience of the works.<br \/>It promotes research projects, conferences, exhibitions, workshops and seminars at national and international level, often in collaboration with other institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Collaborations (Art. 2)<br \/>It regulates relations with public and private partners.<br \/>These collaborations are based on principles of sustainability and innovation, and may include participation in national and international calls for proposals and funding.<br \/>Official agreements are entered into by the Accademia dei Lincei and the Centre is financed through projects and contributions.<\/p>\n<p>Bodies and members (Art. 3)<br \/>The Steering Committee is composed of nine members: five Lincei members and four representatives of partner institutions, plus the Curator of Villa Farnesina.<br \/>The term of office varies: 4 years for Lincei members, 2 years (renewable) for external representatives.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><div class='av-flex-placeholder'><\/div>\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-1az9fxr-f8e10af02162445f7ea9b4c6bc7d0866\">\n#top .flex_column_table.av-equal-height-column-flextable.av-1az9fxr-f8e10af02162445f7ea9b4c6bc7d0866{\nmargin-top:0px;\nmargin-bottom:50px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div  class='flex_column av-1az9fxr-f8e10af02162445f7ea9b4c6bc7d0866 av_one_half  avia-builder-el-20  el_after_av_one_half  el_before_av_one_full  flex_column_table_cell av-equal-height-column av-align-top  column-top-margin'     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-18xdrhb-86a10e18dbba129c31c32dc17cc6ce11 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Operating procedures (Art. 4)<br \/>At the first meeting, a Director is elected from among the Lincei Members of the Committee, who coordinates scientific activities.<br \/>The Committee meets at least twice a year (at the beginning and end of the academic year) and draws up minutes that are sent to various bodies of the Academy.<br \/>External experts may be invited without voting rights.<\/p>\n<p>Research projects and activities (Art. 5)<br \/>Projects may be proposed by the Director, the Lincei Members or the Curator of the Villa.<br \/>Each year, a scientific report on the activities carried out is drawn up and submitted to the Academy.<br \/>At the end of each four-year period, a final report and programme report are also drawn up.<br \/>The results may be published in the Academy&#8217;s series or in scientific journals.<\/p>\n<p>Headquarters (Art. 6)<br \/>The headquarters are located in the Villa Farnesina.<br \/>The official acronym is CERIF (CEntro RIcerche villa Farnesina).<\/p>\n<p>Annex A<br \/>Detailed list of public and private institutions with which the Centre may enter into collaboration agreements<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper. This exciting discovery opened up new perspectives and gave rise to the BLUENET project, a joint effort to improve knowledge of the past use of Egyptian blue and promote its applications in the in a surprising discovery: the identification of Egyptian blue in Raphael&#8217;s Triumph of Galatea at Villa Farnesina. This exciting discovery opened up new perspectives and gave rise to the BLUENET project, a joint effort to improve knowledge of the past use of Egyptian blue and promote its applications in the
